ABOUT

Hello!  I’m Lisa! I love to connect and create…and ponder opossum-abilities! For over thirty-five years I’ve collaborated with diverse community partners to create, facilitate, and produce unique entertainment experiences – often with little resources and tight timeframes.  I love challenges, adventures, and shenanigans!

For much of professional life I have worked with diverse group of students – from experiential education with delinquent youth, to outdoor adventure education with privileged high school students, to international service-learning projects with university students.  I’m a first generation college attendee who kind of over did it –holding a Ph.D. in Higher Education from Ohio University, a J.D. from Cleveland State University, and a B.A. from Wright State University –not to mention a commercial driver’s license (CDL), Tour Guide Certification, Mediation Certificate…and worked professionally as a Wing-walker!

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I grew up acting, singing, and dancing, and now I live and work nomadically with my husband and two kitties.  These days I’m focused particularly focused on writing a play that tells the story of LYDA, who’s story very serendipitously came to me…
